If it is an actual crack in the rim, then it is quite serious.

This is a common problem with cheap "no-name" imports or knock-off rims. They commonly come out of China and are made of inferior alloys or use sub-standard casting methods.

The risk you run continuing to drive on a cracked rim is any dent, pothole or sunken manhole cover in the road could cause the rim to fail and in the worst case scenario shear off.

My advice is to take the offending rim off the car ASAP, replace it with your spare, and then source some known brand alloys to replace them with. Not much point going with OEM rims from Kia, as obviously you would get the same type of unit (plus being OEM they will be VERY expensive for what they are).
Shop around, if money is a concern, you can often find places that deal in second-hand rims which won't hurt the pocket too much, or, if you're lucky, you may find a set of basic steel that will suit your car.

BEWARE OF CHEAP ONLINE RETAILERS!!! They often specialise in the types of rim you are trying to avoid. There have even been cases of some online stores selling "ROH" or "CSA" rims which are in fact cheap knock-offs.

It appears the car is more than 5 years old. Parts replaced under warranty do not generally have an evergreen warranty and you would be really stretching any "fit for purpose" common law.

Unfortunately I'd say you've just lost the gamble of buying a cheap car. Aftermarket mags are not that dear these day and they will add a little to the resale value of your car.

We have a Kia Cerato for the last 6 years, no cracked rims, the car never missed a beat in 6 years. Would recommend to anyone.
